Accessibility Statement

Our commitment, the current conformance level and how to report a barrier. Tradepoint-World is a brand of Internationaler Wirtschaftsrat e.V.

Conformance level

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act.

This site is currently partially conformant: the great majority of Level AA success criteria are met, with the known limitations listed below.

What we have implemented

Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio; the whole site can be operated by keyboard with a visible focus indicator; a skip link jumps straight to the main content; every control has an accessible name; form errors are announced and linked to their field; headings follow a logical order; and all motion, including the rotating globe, stops for visitors who ask their system to reduce motion.

The interactive globe can be skipped entirely: the same four Tradepoints are available as a text list and as cards further down the page, and are described for screen readers.

Known limitations

The rotating globe is a graphical presentation of information that is also available as text; it cannot be operated in full detail by keyboard alone.

Photographs are still placeholders, so their descriptions will only be final once the real images are supplied.

The site has not yet been audited by an external accessibility body.

Reporting a barrier
